Canberra or Bust - the whole story

So... people have been asking. How was your skate trip to Canberra? Was it fun? Was it horrible?

And, depending on my mood at any particular time, I have replied in any number of ways:

- It was awesome. - It sucked rotten eggs. - I felt like a superhero - Next time I’m doing it on a motorised skateboard.

- There’s nothing like the sensation of a semi-trailer passing you going 120k at 8am to wake you up.

lost Daddow board and helmet etc

Hey guys Zane was the last to leave the after film venue last night and someone has taken his Daddow cheker plate board ( with pink Daddow sticker) and his black helmet and gloves . the board is on randels and hawgs . Hopefully someone took it to keep it safe not knowing he was the last skater still at the venue .

Ladies Of Longboarding Calendar 2011

Some of you may be aware that a few of the longboarding girls are participating in a calendar in aid of breast cancer research.

Newton's Calls for Volunteers

Aussie legend Steve Daddow gets some much needed protection from the crowd by ASRA hard men and Newton's volunteers Dave "Don't look at me" Miller and Scott "The Guff" Guthrie


The only thing better than smashing into a hay wall at 100km/h is watching it happen from 3 feet away. Without our volunteers events like this just would not happen. ASRA is calling out for volunteers to help make the action happen.

Newton's Nation registration is now open!

Unless you have been living on another planet you should be aware that open registration for the IGSA World Cup in Bathurst starts at 8am this Saturday 4th September.

At last years event the total rider cap was set at 200; this year's rider cap across all disciplines has been reduced to 160.
