Cool - great post by Leah, thanks for the link Bernie.  Reading it took me back to my first encounters with slalom and what it felt like, having been a street skater in my younger years.

Newton's Nation 2010 Thanks to Sponsors

Another terrific Newton's Nation IGSA World Cup Race under the belt! This year was by far the best racing we've seen at Mount Panorama in the three years the event has been held. It was the richest race ever and for that a special thanks go out to our awesome sponsors. Without their very substantial financial contributions we would be unable to organise an event of this scale.

Our Main Sponsors…

Canberra or Bust - the whole story

So... people have been asking. How was your skate trip to Canberra? Was it fun? Was it horrible?

And, depending on my mood at any particular time, I have replied in any number of ways:

- It was great except I…

Canberra or Bust!

On Monday 6 September ASRA old-timers Trav and Haggy will be setting out on their first long-distance sojourn.

The goal - Sydney to Canberra!

How many pushes do people think it will take to get to Canberra? Ten thousand, Fifty thousand? I really have no clue. And I won't be keeping track, so it will…

South o' da Border - Adventures in Melburn

I had heard about Melton for a few years and seen a few photos in the mainstream mags. But they still gave me no clear impression of what awaited us upon our arrival there. I googled "Melton" for a better idea. While the first result was uninteresting, the second result was more promising. It was a link to Melton International Tackle - the ultimate in big-game tackle & accessories. Hmmm, could this have…

ASRA hits BTB – Day IV - Luca and the magic pipe

I can't believe the weekend is over. I'm sitting here typing trying to keep my eyes open. I'm pooped. I've got the matchsticks out to hold up my eyelids. So please pardon any spelllling mistaykes... Anyhoot, what a weekend. Yesterday we ran the Super Giant Slalom for the second time - the fastest slalom race in the world. We had a big field, 28 racers, and everyone charged hard. For some people it was their first…
