The rankings are now up to date, with both All Moss'd Out and Girls Get Stealth added. I've also rejigged the whole system as per my previous post, with one slight change - the outlaw categories are 1-3, 4-5 and >=6.

Maga moves into No. 2 just as she flies to Europe to compete...go Maga!

That sounds like a good idea to me Bugs.

All Moss'd out:

1.Lea Robbo

2.Maga McWhinnie

3.Evie Carey

4.Astrid Carey

5.Erica

6.Gemma Holland

It's early days with the Women's rankings, and I think I might have to rejig how they are calculated. At the moment, if a race doesn't have a women's category and therefore the women race in the Opens category, they still get points for the women's rankings. For example, if the fastest women in the Opens category comes 20th out of 32, they get the amount of points a 20th placing would normally get in a 32-person race awarded to them for the Women's ranking.

But I think this should be changed, and in this situation they should be considered to have come 1st in a women's race. Otherwise it would be hard to compare a 20th out of 32 in an Open Category with, say, a 4th out 5 in a Women's only race. Which should get more points?

So I propose:

  • where there is no Women's only category, the placings of the women are extracted from the Open category and placed into their own list, and that points be awarded based on the number of women riders only.
  • the rider numbers for three outlaw categories should be:
    • 4c: 1-3
    • 4b: 4-6
    • 4a: >6

But I'm open to other ideas. And a question - what where the final results for the women at All Moss'd Out?

I guess it should be, it had a Women's only category

Is all moss'd out included in this?

That Race is a year old and is removed from the rankings. As a result, Lea Robbo overtakes Maga McWhinnie.

I think we went off the over all points we got in the day and just had a run together. But there was podium and everything.

I forgot about the Grom Bomb, but women of all ages were in that, so I don't see why it shouldn't be included. Was there a separate women's final?

SICK! Such an honour to be skating with these girls!

Is the Grom Bomb going to be counted in this aswell?
