ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

Hey guys. There's currently a product available from the states already made by Bombsquad.
Trouble is they cost alot in US dollars to begin with then there's the hassle of pricey shipping.

I'm putting out feelers to see who'd be interested in a variation of this made from alum. to keep weight to a minimum.

I'm pretty sure I could smash their price (after conversion rate and shipping) to suit us Aussies.

Don't expect exactly the same thing because I'm not into ripping other companies off.

To keep price to a min. I'd make one size fit all method so it may not look as sexy and flush, but I guess you can always pay extra from the states for that.

i am interested
The idea is the alum curved over the front has give. It will crush on impact instead of you board. Hopefully be affordable enough to simply repair or replace.
I'll try and get a price next week some time.
I'll take one for the hellcat and one for a glyde and a set of those trucks while your at it, and go!
i think those trucks look SICK Mate !!!!
As per usual count me in
i'm in, i tried to make trucks on solidworks before, didn't turn out as nice.

perhaps you could put in your own rubber in between the deck and guard so that it wont be crushed?
Fitzteck !!! Nice bro

3mm Alum is still plyable enough to open or close the bend up front. The slots should have enough variation to fit most decks.
Shape's not final yet by any means. You gotta realise I designed and modeled it like an hr after I posted the thread, Haha!

hey fitz how are you planning to coverome the problem of different thicknesses i.e. a topmount would be thicker from top to bottom of baseplate than a flushie or drop thru
