Hey Steve, just read the artical about you in the gold coast news, and needless to say its very inspiring and vindicating to hear your story. As some one who has been in the sport about the same amount of time, and living a similar home life(construction worker/sk8r in his 30's). I was hoping to read that you're married, like myself. The reason i say this is, i recently had a bad crash on Mt. Ruapehu(NZ) leaving me out of action for nearly 5 months with damaged knees after sliding out into the armco barrier at 85km. Now my wife wants me to give up dh completely. Perhaps she'll come around after reading your interview. Anyway, thank you for showing folks that your never too old to sk8.

hey man i hear that you are a stunt man by trade, so being very interested in the profession, i was wondering how you got into it and how you get a job doing stunt work.
im pretty sure that i would be alright at stunt manning(?), but it would help if i could get some tips like if i should make a demo reel or who i should contact.
if you could help, that would rock!
cheers Dylan

Hey steve,
I'm in year 8 and my teacher just gave us an assignment to do on australian legends. I decided that I had to choose a pro skater, so I could explain to all my class mates the adrenaline rush I've been talking to them about when I hit a hill on my longboard. I've decided to include the F1 skate video in my assignment and for that reason I chose you to do my assignment on. About a month ago me and my friends joined in on one of the skate sesh's at reedy creak and we saw you there. I was wondering if you could answer some questions for me so i can do my assignment? Here they are:

1. Little bit about yourself? (age, where you grew up, etc.)

2. How did you get into skating?

3. Favourite skating moment?

4. Places that skating has taken you?

5. What do you do when you aren’t longboarding?

6. Looking into the future. Do you have any plans or ideas for skating in the future?

7. What would you say to someone who is looking at getting into longboarding? Tips and wise words?

Please help me out so I can do my assignment, but if for some reason you can't I wont hold a grudge.
Thanks Jackson

Hey Steve, skating some nice roads yesterday and stumbled on to a crew shooting a Holden ad. Met a guy called "Halfy". He said "do you know Steve Daddow?" He told me you're great at dying.

Hey Steve, I'm gonna get some NJK's and I was just wondering wether you just got the standard luge/downhill custom suit or did you get extras added in, like pads, any stretch panelling that wasn't already included or kevlar?
If you could help it'd be unreal.
Cheers, Phill
