hey pete. real happy with the board, it feels great. i see what you mean about the possibility of wheelbite with the cast trucks but theres none at all with 70 mil wheels. i think 75's would be fine too. cheers.

hey Pete
about two month ago my board got a small crack on the back where the drop is and i have tried to mend it about three times now but riding it just makes the crack worse i have been using PVA glue, i have also fiber glassed to see if that helped but it din't....so i was just wondering if you had any tips on how to make it stronger???
thanks...Campbell

i really appreciate all your thought, now that the glass is ready to sand, (after glassing it yeserday) i can realy see it working, i went overboard with glass. 100mland 20ml on top, with 10 ounce glass and a four ounce patch 20cm from each end. 150 and 30 on bottom with 4 ounce on first and 10 ounce over top. so it's very heavy, i was paranoid it needed strength being bunnings ply. man i am saturating you comment wall sorry about that.

Bamboo, he said he has some 3.5 mm at the moment, so the bamboo does not bend aswell?? is it worth it for a back yarder or should i stick to marine ply, what is the best ply for my situation, by the way i am not planing to try to be competition for you and your company i just have major financial commitments renos and mortgage etc so i just want to make the boards for myself as good as i can, if i can make half decent decks i can spend a little bit of money on trucks, and wheels. My partner says i should not be giving away my ideas on the forum but the feedback from you and fitz has made the results and the future decks so much better so it's worth it. i have to find a place where i can get bulk 2 part epoxy, bunnings only has it in syringes.

thanks heaps for the the congrats and the earlier advice that you gave me on my first sketches i don't know if you saw the picks of the press or not but check my pics. I am now starting to think of improvements for the next one and how to layer both sides with fibre glass got any hints? On the glassing that is i have some surf board glass and sheet and was gunna give that a go??? does the timber need primer. And i do really appreciate the advice from the sketch. Ps your boards are SICK. JUST SICK
