not so much a question of can as to whether you would want too. if you are looking at buying then get randals or paris etc. you have the option and they are proven. if you have the seismics just try them, you can tell us :)
but yeah, from my experience on them they would be average but not as good as something like a randal or paris
I tthink that seismics wouldn't be very good fir freeriding because they're a lower angle. Correct me if I'm wrong but you'd want heaps of turn to initiate a slide. Plus they don't look as strong as cast trucks which could stop you from doing early grabs and stuff like that. My opinion

45 compared to 50. I can feel the differance. My opinion

They're a pure slalom truck. Nice and sharp for the turns because of their spring set-up instead of the conventional bushing. The springs return straight back to "true centre" unlike a bushing which squishes and "lags" on the rebound.
I wouldn't necessarily recommend them as a freeride truck and as Jacko said they'll more than likely turn into a slide instead of break into a clean one.
They are a little bit of an annoyance when changing your spring set-up because you have to do 20 different things. They're meaty and a solid truck and work real well for just cruising and hard carving.
Freeride trucks would definitely have to be a Randal, Paris or Bears.
Hope it helps
