James replied to Cents's discussion 'Pumping technique.'
How long is your wheelbase? Most of the ldp boards are around 30 inch w/b. The info on paved wave should be very relevant. Learning to pump is a bit like learning to Ollie. It can seem hard at first, but then you suddenly get it right and it seems…

James replied to Ian Coggan's discussion 'Travel Bag For Collingrove'
Small snowboard bags do the job. They are much cheaper than the decent hardware bags. Granted they aren't quite as good, but they fit a couple of boards, a few sets of wheels, pads, shoes and a weeks worth of clothing. The clothes pad the…

James replied to J-mo's discussion 'Car / skateboard crash - driver claiming damages (NSW)'
That one is better. I'd probably have the first paragraph, then have; "Please provide evidence to support you argument that I have been negligent. If you cannot, advise in writing that you will be closing your file and then discontinue…

Don't send that. Well not the second paragraph at least There is no reason to offer settlement if you are disputing liability.

Unfortunately it won't go away after 7 years if they continue to pursue it. If they just didnt pursue you for 7 years, they couldn't then ask for money 7 years after the incident. If they are in contact in-between, then its a different…

Church of Slalom - Pumpstation at Sydney, BlueMountains, Pumpstation

September 4, 2011 from 11am to 3pm
NEW DATE selected especially to avoid wet weather, guaranteed!Semi-regular Sydney slalom session (lets be honest its a race!) heads to the Blue mountains. BMB Mountain Mick is promising a rocking SGS course so it is likely to be perfectly makeable on your downhill board. The locale is still officially a BMB club secret so if you need to know where it is PM me Mountain Mic, Bugs or someone in the know. Pumpstation is remote so bring all your own food water etc. Kicking off around 11am Prizes?…See More

James replied to stephen cummins's discussion 'pumping for a dervish or tant tien flex 1'
I reckon a tan tien would be a little short for pumping much more than a short distance. They feel a little cramped to me. If the only two options are tan tien or dervish, I would choose the dervish

James replied to jasper montague's discussion 'knee pads'
I reckon the Pros are better. They have replaceable caps and you don't have to take your shoes off to put them on or take them off.   I don't find them 'wayyyy too bulky for longboarding'

James replied to James Peters's discussion 'someone doesnt buy my stuff?'
If he agreed to pay for the shipping costs, technically it would be a breach of contract, but considering you would have only lost about $10 or so it would hardly be worth pursuing. There is nothing the cops can do. It sucks that you tried to do…

Hi was recommended to you (by Steve) for pumping set up advice. I have a rayne timeline (33.5" long and 9.25" wide) also a fibretec croco 840 (33.1" long and 8.75" wide). My back truck is a randal 125 (most affordable option) and I'm just tossing up between the bennett 5.0 and 4.3 for the front. I understand the advantages of both but I am more concerned about the truck size ratio of the front to back? Which would suit 125 randals better?
