ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

The ASRA crew are are now ensconced in their luxury villa in Bathurst, preparing for the coming weekend. Grom Cooper is here with us on work experience and he just made a delicious pizza - nice one Coops.

We've been working hard, busy posing with money:

and fake money:

and tomorrow it'll be time to put out the hay bales. The vert ramp was built today, and the top of the mountain is starting to turn into a festival site.

Stay tuned to this thread for more of the inside info. When the race starts (Friday morning folks!) I'll be posting some commentary here.

That's my hat, gabes hairy genitalia were rubbed on the inside of the hat, and jacko decided to write his personal notes on the inside.....
Today was filth. Got off to a bit of a slow start, lugers and inline were held up by stacks of resident issues. But the residents must have all gone on siesta after lunch and skateboard ran super smooth. The level of riding has stepped up hugely since last year - it is impressive to see. I'm running the startline and people have been pumped all day, so good, just feeding off the energy.

Tomorrow is a day of lots of racing, so it will be fun. Stay posted, I'm sure Bugs will be sending in updates when he has time...

Over and out...
Practice underway - head-to-head qualifying about to start with skateboarding - odd tree.
We're all ready to start racing here, but Marcus has gone AWOL. I think he's in the festival selling T-shirts. MARCUS! Get to the finish line, we need to start racing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Gawd damn Seppo's never there when you need them always there when you don't (;-)>

Have a great day guys. Wish I was there racing!!!!!!!

did Da silva really lose?
Brianne Davies and Patrick Switzer VS Leigh and Dani.

How awesome! Just to race against such legends would be wicked.

(ummmm,... the legends being Brianne and Patrick)
hahahaaaaa
No big surprises in the results so far. Gabe super steezy around Forest, no hands, no footbrake. Pilloni and JKelly with big pendys.
Already feeling like Dalua has this in the bag!
