What is the brand to go for when you are looking at buying precision trucks?
(I want to use these trucks for DH racing.)

I know everyone goes hand down for the Kahalani trucks.
But what about the Area's?

apprecaite everyone that could help me out or give me some info. :D

would be a pretty awesome setup, i ride mine at around 45 (i have their adjustable plates) front and back and at 204 with surf keys, a black surfrodz barrel bottom and a red venom top and it rides like a treat

nah mate get some randal, I have taken them to 98kph and they felt pretty good.

but if you must get precision cut trucks I'd go with ronins, super stable heaps of lean, cheaper then aeras or pro bears.

I ride a pretty short wheelbase (23 inches) and with 40/40 ronins set up loose I took them to 96kph with a head wind and they felt amazing.

Randal, Bear and Caliber cast trucks are all awesome. Get lower degrees for more stability and lean!

weww, we both rode paris for aaages

My list would go,

No. 1: Aera

No. 2: Kaha

No. 3: Munkae

No. 4: Ronin

Those are the known and proven brands, but hey, people race on Paris trucks...

All precision trucks on the market, except SurfRods, are made for downhill.  Research, try some out, look on silverfish.

Andrew, It's all about how they feel under your feet. Heaps of great precision trucks to chose from. I am releasing PNL Precision Trucks in 1.5 weeks. I have AERA's in my collection but now I have incorporated ideas I wanted so they now sit in the garage. As stated all about feel.

Do not get surf rods, if your gonna get those you may as well get paris they are better.
I will sell you a set of good condition kahalani 184mm trucks for $275 if your keen? These trucks are kind of rare as they rarely are in stock anywhere.

Those 45* Ronins look absolutely delish!

Don't forget J.A.R. trucks.

Just

Another

Randal

hop have kahas in stock...price has dropped too...can get a fresh set for 380 right now  (4 sets in 184mm left)
