  • If you can't take on hill climb with ease, stay away.
  • If you can't foot brake or slide at speed, stay away.
  • If you don't wish to wear a helmet, pads and gloves, stay away.
  • If you have trouble staying in your lane, stay away.

Required safety gear

Needed - Gloves and a form of helmet

Advised - Pads.. Jeans.. multiple layers.. Or leathers

(I will be in leathers, I'm sure most people will be.)

People tend to call the cops when they fear that they are going to hurt you, or you are going to hurt them.

I stay in my lane when riding the hill, but someone still called the cops on me. Had helmet, gloves, jeans and a t-shirt on.  Was there for hours when in my leathers and diddn't have any trouble... go figure!

Hit the hill well over 100 times, only once had trouble with the cops, last Tuesday, just got moved on.  Traffic is manageable and usually minimal.

Some of the money will be for the winners and the other part will either go towards closing down the hill in the future for another race (Insurance is hella expensive and that is the first of the worries...) or it will be sent to ASRA!

A couple of questions first of all where are the proceeds of the day going? And how many times have you actally ran this hill? just wondering ive heard some disturbing things about this road like that it aint good with traffic and that police are onto anyone who tries to ride it.

GSE made an announcement on their site and FB page regarding Cootha.

GSE is heavily involved in alot of activities at the moment, around Oz. To see some of what they're involved with, go visit their site or FB page.

Cheers.

WARNING!

I am issuing a caution about the Mt Gravity hill.  The police now have the hill on their 'skate radar'.  The cuntstable thinks that we are, for the sake of the law, under the same regulations as a car and can be fined as such.  This could be in our favour if he turns up one the day.

Just letting everyone know that, until the race day, this hill is a no go zone or one skate then get out.
