Keep the wheels spinning. Flat-spots come when the wheel stops spinning while you slide.

"I found that they work well. Great for taking down mild DH runs, but are also fine to whip around corners at slower speed. Deffinately something to have lying around when all your other wheels are gone"

"Retros just don't wear away... and as for standies, try and hold it just past 90, so you will be sliding across the road. Holding any wheel at 90 will flat spot it, just ask hugh about the 101a park wheels that have half an inch missing…"
