so anyone whos seen a demonseed will tell you it must be a bugger to go up curbs on. so i had an idea and i want to know anyones thoughts on it. ive seen some pictures of people putting footstraps on demonseeds. supposedly it helps with slides etc etc. what im thinking about is putting jus tone at the fron of the board, so that if i need to i can slip my foot in and pull the front of the board up to get up a curb. anyone have any thoughts.

it makes stepping off pretty awkward...

if its what u want, do it but unless u can ollie getting up kurbs is pretty awkward on most boards

it would get in the way alot for when you're not using it...

learn to boneless?

or early grab like a boss

freebord binders

i got a feeling a freebord s1 binder on the front would be your best bet, its not big, its just enough to let you flick your board up with your front foot and i dont think it would get in the way too much

id get the new ones they way way better

A strap so you can jump and the board follows? May as well early grab dude, you won't be able to manual with your back foot still in front of the pivot point anyway. Or get a Madrid sick tail
the new ones hold your feet on better, but try doing a toeside slide with one..... they restrict your ankle abit much, i think the s1's you could sorta work around abit when you dont need them, this is pure speculation though, i always rode s2's myself

not two starps, and to jump. just one on the end to pull the front up so i can get up a curb. i was looking at those sick tails. but people say dont put them on a dropthrough board... as it can snap the mountings. and i dont have enuff cash to replace my board

Freebord straps can be mounted on to any board and are stable and look awesome.

By the way What kind of board is that?

Some things just weren't meant to happen.

eg. No matter how fast I drive I can seem to make my car fly. It dosnt mean I'm going to bolt wings on and give it a go.

Demonseeds were designed and built for DH racing on flat terrain. Even though they do make very good sliding/drifting boards when setup correctly, gutters and other terrain are not their forte.

Perhaps try another deck such as the Landyachtz Urban Assault. Its an old shape but effective at lifting the front truck when required.

I always cringe when I see loads of junk being bolted onto longboards these days. Just another thing to get in the way of where feet should be.

Yea but Fitz, when you have feet as big as yours even a Demonseed doesn't have enough real estate (;-)>
