i don't know streetluge's well enough to understand. is it unusual for a streetluge to have a dropdown platform like that? i just don't get where you put your legs.
Well a Rogers Bros pegless luge has a drop down platform. And that is the benchmark design at the moment.
Yes I think its unusual that its made of wood,... but without riding it I reckon this would feel friggin awesome.
Most luges are made of welded or bolted together parts to get that shape. One piece of smooth wood is much better IMHO.
Id guess it would be lighter than an RB luge, and have a solid feel.
Did I mention the deck is $200USD. Cheapest option out there.
yes but its a very short platform for a luge the handles are illegal as they stick out, there are no bumper front or back and I don't know but I'd be worried about wheel scrub but hey man get one see how it goes moddify it, fuck it up and tell us about it
The guys who built it put it together as a cheap way for people to get the feel of a luge, without it being a Buttboard and without forking out a stack of money for something they didn't like, ie, luging as opposed to stand-up, or some other discipline. Really built and marketed as a play thing, go and fool around on, as such.
