Is there a problem with snow/frost/ice at that time of year? Or lots of traffic due to the ski/snowboard season?
yeah, your gonna need to chain up your wheels for that one i think owen.
no goin owen, but we gotta do somthin before christmas when winter is over,
im in after the melt, too much of a gamble on conditions then
June is a good time for the Tawonga Gap road, it is below the snow line, and the cold stops your leathers from getting stinky.
The Falls Creek rd might be a bit damp in places, so pack a snow board just incase.
Not sure about strait after the melt...the snow leaves lots of loose gravel on the road. Probably better from November.
Have a great time!
Yeah, Tawonga Gap will probably be ridable. That's a pretty sick run. But the reason to go to that area is to ride the awesome run out of Falls Creek and I can't imagine that will be ridable during the winter season. Go there to snowboard but pack a dh board and leathers in case its dry... Would be effin sick to show all the skiers/boarders some fast dh action... but watch out for traffic, i imagine that road is very busy on a weekend in winter
heading down to melbourne form the 7th, then Hayley wanted to go to bright so I thought that I could get some riding done will I'm down there so I will be riding regardless of weather . will just have to take as many different boards as I can fit in the car.

will take loads of pics for you guys.
could be dry.......they're talking long/great season though....watch the road as the locals are up and down it en masse tokyo drift style getting it ready for opening weekend/queens birthday.
