Event Description

Well, we found this fun little path, and decided to have a fun little race on it. Its not fast, but it is fun! Think of dodgem cars but on skateboards going around tight corners!

Will be $10 Entry, There will be butt board and standup races. $10 will be entry for both races/classes. Should be able to do a round robin type draw so you'll get heaps of runs with your mates.

This will be a mad time even if you don't do downhill. Come and meet the local crew, have some races and a chat. Its a real challenge to make it around some of these corners, and will provide interesting racing with lots of position changing. Great thing is theres mulch and bush everywhere so your not gonna get hurt.

Also grommets- There are train stations close by. If you work it out with each other try turn up at Bulli Station at the same time we can pick you up. In saying that its not a very far skate at all.

Bring:

Food, Plenty of water. HELMET!

Slide gloves are recommended to save your skin.

Depending on how fast we get through on the path, There'll be a slide jam afterwards on a rad hill close by!

10am start

Well, just been looking through heaps of forecasts, and today is currently wet as down here.

Each say the chance of rain tomorrow is high (70% and up), So its looking like this will have to be postponed. Will confirm tomorow at 6am.

Im not against skating in the rain at all, but this path will be almost impossible to make any corner in the wet as its so tight.

Push each other over? No. Push out of corners? Yes.

OK.

Chance of rain on Sunday looks pretty high according to the Bom. I will post up here at 6am on Sunday to confirm if the event is on or not for those people travelling, if it is raining I think we will have to postpone. Best thing you can do is keep an eye on the forecast for yourself.

Cheers guys,

Tim

Just to clarify, these corners are super tight, and this path is really slow.  For anyone expecting there to be tucking etc? Forget it, you can pretty much push outta each corner.

That was Just so everyone knows what to expect. But it is heaps of fun. And the slide jam after will be rad. Kinda suprised to see how many are keen its gonna be a fun day guys!
