snowy mountains march
I will be taking a few days off work and family from the 6th to 9th of febuary to skate some runs in the snowys flights to canberra from brissy are cheap around then ( $140 return) hire car about the same for a few days, blader sean is working down there will be skating with him, the more the merrier.

Gnar weekend. Had a killer time.
Thanks to all involved, especially Arbi, Hayzee and The Wood for the use of their vehicles.
The food was excellent, the accomodation was all time and the company was unreal. - There are no strangers on this site. Just mates you have yet to meet.

it was just before you arrived. on the hill that Jason fucked his leg, which we have now named the "Ski Rider"
he did kind of the same thing as Jason did, just a hell of a lot funnier, with a lot less injury...

On saturday morning, after Guthega. Can't remember the name of the road.
It was at the end of my first run. Hit warp speed coming around the last lefthander and crashed and burned on the loose stuff.
It was an epic fail on my behalf. Everyone who had ridden the road on Friday gave a good description of what was ahead, where to slow down etc... but I just got caught up in the moment and came fanging around the bend to see Leeso standing on the side of the road giving me the slow down signals. I foot breaked out of the bend onto the straight but just couldn't wash off enough speed and then ate shite!

Have you guys seen this ...tent city antihero vid, at about 8minute mark, John Cardiel and frank gerwer bombing the hills in the snowy's on park boards no pads or helmets on their way to Gee-Hi Pipe, Cardiel Melts a wheel of the bearings!!!!!!!!

awesome weekend guys. as always, learned heaps and enjoyed doing so with the best riders/top blokes in oz. thanks heaps to everyone who organised everything and a special thanks to the cooks/drivers of the weekend.
i wish i was riding them hills right now.
