Provided it is mid august it shouldn't clash with any races or riders travel plans at all.

The Padova race in Italy finishes end of August 2, And then Mary Hill starts on the September 2.

If it is the noosa hillclimb track, the noosa car club doesn't use that road until november each year.
Just give anyone else who uses the track a notice two weeks before hand, put a notice in the local paper, and a sign at the entry points two week before to cover anyone else who uses the track (walkers & cyclists) and you should be right.

Apart from that rain would be your only issue, so i'd just contact the Bureau of Meteorology confirm the last couple of years rain fall stats for the dates in mind, and then go with it if its all good.

I'm keen!
dont be wusses race in the rain!
if its the hill climb track, you could race it in the rain with no worries, its a SLOW hill!
sounds good!
how fast would you say sf? 60max? 70max? i'm trying to get a picture in my head without a pic! hahahha...
but yeah, i'd leave alcatas for a race!

if you confirm it, they will come....

even in the rain.
given that the location will obviously not be disclosed its probably not worth presuming its the noosa run , i think even a luge would struggle to find 80kmh there, if however it was at noosa i would suggest we ride handstanding on pre 1980 fibre glass bannana boards to make it somewhat challenging.
Hhahah yep that's true we but boarded down on are skate boards and done the run and dam that was slow.
thanks for not trying to guess the location. 80k max speed is all you can expect outa this hill, but keep in mind the faster you go the more bones you break we could try for a bigger track like mt coot-tha or wallaby drive where 100+could easily be acheved but then the whole coarse needs to be hay bailed and who can afford 2k's of hay bails i know i cant
also i have said before this sport isnt about high speed (of corse the speed is a nice rush )but about making the most speed out of the hill you have got
i find more of a challenge getting consistatly faster on a slow coarse than blasting past slower riders that cant break the 100k mark on big fast hills
any monkey can go fast but it takes tallent and good gear to get fast on a small hill . i didnt hear any one complain about the slow speed at western sydney shoot out and it was on a f*#king bike track with a top speed of yes a whopping 60 kliks ask all the guys with skin off if W/S shoot out was challenging enough
silly fella, if you can get cootha closed from channel seven down to the jc salughter falls i will supply the 2 grand for haybails
....sound fair...we have been thinking about trying to organise something here in tassie for the end of the year, it isn't fast, but it is pretty tech....

this sounds like it could be a bit of fun.

yeah Rain ! RAIN ! Put your dancing shoes on and lets party downhill styles.....
It doesn't rain up here, it should just rain sunshine ..... Any race is a good race in the end.... We got really no races so it is a great start. It takes a lot of effort to put on a race so you got support from the Downhill community....
GO YOU SILLY FELLA !!!!!!!!!
i'm in.r/raff
Ditto Steve !!! I'm in for sure !!
