Only one I've seen in the flesh had terrible concave (way too flat). old lightning bug
dunno if they've/he's altered it, or how other designs are besides what pictures will tell.

Edit
well the site's saying the L'bug has 3/4 inch of 'cave, the old one sure didn't feel like that much so...
The old Insects had no concave, Steve listened to advice and built good caves on his newer boards.

I just sold my last Mosquito and not sure how soon I'll be ordering again as it took over 6 months from when I payed until I got my decks and then they were all damaged in transit.

Norfin makes similar boards, without the nanotubes, heaps cheaper and waaaaaaay quicker. Paul will build a board to your weight and design if you want. Great decks.

Cheers

including postage?
Nano tube carbon fibre is a lil bit over-rated. Unless you you get an all carbon deck with foam-core you aren't gonna be able to tell the difference. Expect big bucks for one of those.

Insect have been making awesome layups for many years now. The glue, wood and fibre combo's are quality and now it seems their shapes have become more contempory.

I've been talking to those who know and I hear Norfin can do equally as good if not better and it's here in our national backyard.
Paul charges $250 for a carbon fibre layup and $200 for glass, but the carbon is definitely the way to go. If you buy one off him direct, I think he pays the postage, but don't hold me to that.

My mate got one from America about 1 and a bit years ago. He has a Mozzie. He got carbon-fibre in it, and maybe that's what made delivery/building slow, coz it took a couple of months I think. But it's a sick board-mega carvy, probably moreso than a dervish if you make it nice and loose. But it has no flex, and I think it's flat as ADO said.

Wicked allrounder.
