i tried some bamboo on the weekend and it cracked pretty bad will have to reassess the mold to make it a better fit. i have a pretty heavy W concave. Do you think the bamboo would respond to steam or water?????? if you send me a non asra email i will send you a pick of the cracks. this one will just be for me as i will have to fill cracks with epoxy and stuff?????

Ps. i have just purchased a sheet of 4mm tick bamboo that looks very similar to yours. how thick are your veneers? my boards so far have all been just ply and i am so looking forward to making a bamboo one. I love the glossy finish.
