I've tried kite surfing, and whilst it's fun, you get pretty drilled with those big kites. All well and good over sand or water, but you would really want to know what you were doing before trying on concrete....

Oh the memories. When i was a mega grom (6yr old) i was into sailing little crappy boats round pittwater. these crapy boats had spinakers. Windy days we used to tie one end of the spinnaker to your abnkle and the 2 other ends to a poll which you…

I dont know Paul, no helmet, no shoes... :) There is a land windsurfing club down in Rockingham (at the salt lakes at the old end of the freeway).  I reckon that could be a good place to give it a go.

hey man. i had the tan tien before i sold it for a switch. i find it much superior in quality and ride. its alot easier to push on, carve on and even bomb on (i have stock bear 852's). its a great board for slides, awesome for stand ups but lacks in the tricks department as its relatively heavier than the tan tien. if i was asked "which should i buy" i would definately say the swtich: cheaper, stronger, better.

I made a mistake, its the drop hammer not the drop carve, dunno what I was thinking. Still interested?
