In other news, i just posted up a new vid and its rad. People are already diggin' it and I'm stoked. - Should see some of the skating thats been going down... - Blackwood has been ripping.

- Should also mention that Blackwood is the proud owner of a half pipe in his back yard. Its mad. So sick. When you get home we will have to get together with the squad and have a BBQ and a few beers round his joint. - What do you reckon?

Hey mate! - Sorry don't check my page that much so i only just spied your msg. How things? I've been meaning to try and contact you and check how you settled in over there. You been shredding the concrete? Or too busy making millions..? Haa ha!

Anyway, about the knee... i joined Jacko and Blackwood for a roll in Seaforth, over the north side. Hit up a corner session on a rough, but nice little right hand bend... first run and bam! - Slid out and ended up hitting my knee cap on the edge of the gutter. Knee Pad pulled down. It was terrible.

I had skated the spot with Jacko and Luca the weekend before, the only problem was this time i was on a new set up and i just didn't take that into consideration (Evo + Smokies + worn out O'tangs). From there it was a trip to Manly Hospital and then on to recovery mode. Otherwise known as time on the couch. Sucked big time.
Still cant skate now and it happened ages ago. I don't reckon i'll be on the board for a long time. Bought some huge knee pads which cost as much as a nice deck ($250) to try and get some confidence back but its the little things like footbreaking and sliding that put heaps of pressure on it. Tried to skate the other day and didn't get further than the driveway! Just going to have to be patient.

Anyway, have to get back to me and let me know how you are going and when you will be back for a visit... i'll get you to bring some JimZ trucks back for me!

Hey Jon, Im flying into Seattle in August. Will probably make my way to Vancouver and then head to the race from there. Thats all I have really planned so far.
