I just came down ready to buy a new deck on my birthday to find the shop closed at quarter to 5, was there somewhere saying its not open until 7pm on boxing day or did I miss something?"

Now coz its got that flex its not a full-on downhill board and should not be primarily used as a full-on racing board but you can sure bomb some gnar on it
