The weather forecast had not been looking good for a whole week leading up to the race, but a whopping thirty seven riders (not counting spectators, bystanders and photogs) actually showed up to take on Kongwak Road, rain or shine. The drive to Kongwak was ominous. Dark clouds as far as the eye could see and rain about half an hour out. Crossing our fingers and closing our eyes we chanted to ourselves…

what size hardware mate? rest is ok, but not too sure about kingpins for Crails. Pretty sure they are a press fit in which case I don't have anything to suit.

stick with pan heads as the glass will crack where the bolts bury into the deck.
Risers are $10 and no problem.
Grip: I have standard grip for $15 for a longboard, or Viscious for $25

I don't like using countersunk heads on longboards as they drive into the wood. Much prefer panhead. How thick is the deck? Bolts are $5 and the wedges are $10. Where do you want them sent?
