Kongwak Race Report #2!
The weather forecast had not been looking good for a whole week leading up to the race, but a whopping thirty seven riders (not counting spectators, bystanders and photogs) actually showed up to take on Kongwak Road, rain or shine. The drive to Kongwak was ominous. Dark clouds as far as the eye could see and rain about half an hour out. Crossing our fingers and closing our eyes we chanted to ourselves…

- hey ben i got the go-pro HD hero about 3 months ago. it has never been used. hasnt been turned on, no sd card or anything been put it. comes with like the box and everything. helmet mount, chest mount, 3x pole mounts, like some suction cup mount and yea. i want $350 for it cause they sell $450 new plus all the mounts and stuff. and yea:)

stick with pan heads as the glass will crack where the bolts bury into the deck.
Risers are $10 and no problem.
Grip: I have standard grip for $15 for a longboard, or Viscious for $25

I don't like using countersunk heads on longboards as they drive into the wood. Much prefer panhead. How thick is the deck? Bolts are $5 and the wedges are $10. Where do you want them sent?
