Deep in the backwaters of Woonoona, a South Coast local happened upon a tight, twisty, pathy nirvana. The grom-friendly concrete was perfect for a fun race and Tim Day decided to make it happen, drumming up support and setting a date.

Good plan! At UNSW? If you play your cards right you could do your 4th year thesis under my former supervisor and work on hemp or bamboo composites for longboards or something similar.
My undergrad thesis and PhD were on that topic (minus the longboards - though we did make a hemp street deck once). I'm sure he still has plenty of projects in the offing. I'll leave you to figure out which Professor I mean. If you go there it shouldn't take you long to figure it out....
So if you're planning to study Engineering, your pedantic tendencies should come in handy :P
