hey guys i'm looking to find a new home for my skennett front truck that deserves to get some use rather than sitting in my wardrobe. Offer up if you are interested, it is silver, mint condition and comes with the brass spacers so you can space it out a bit from 101mm. It isn't a spherical but if that is your thing there are plenty of folks on this forum who can do that for you

Hey bernie,

it should be fine.  I'll check in with the event people.  they will be running some "try to skate" stuff for punters down that pitch.  maybe they'll wanna do some slalom as well.  could be a good opportunity to get some people rolling.  i'll give you an update when i know anything

Hey Mick, I think that Mountain Straight might just have room for 101 cones.....

you up for a bit of chalking & wiggling??

...$1 per run  so winner can buy extra beers!

One of the more informative messages from craig for anyone still interested. Said he got sick of ASRA (don't know why) and removed himself from all the groups.

oh btw...i meant the ISSA...it's called slalom-something-or-other...the one u posted on about ur randal back truck....saw ur name on some posts.

became a member...asked some questions & steve p private msgd me out of the blue & then don cambpell did too...a bit starstruck i was.
as far as angles go, well steve p has Extreme angles, like 72 degrees on foxy & 37 on homer.....& he has back around 10 degree & hard bushings.
basically he said to try to get back as straight/hard as possible & make front as loose & angled as possible...but not so much u forfeit turning ability........depends on ur style of skating.
also, depends on steepness of track.............he said all the guys at maryhill (etc) are running angles like these, some a bit higher some lower ...but always pretty damn extreme compared to what i envisaged.
frank papps runs his front so loose u can wobble the deck & it flops everywhere.....his kingpin nut is hand tightened it's so loose.
his back is super stifff........it's all about power at back & turn at front..........i actually do this already but i wasn't aware how h'core the pros go about it.
the pros run hourglassed bushings these days (evidently).........green reflex short cones hourglassed...one @ top & one @ bottom.......change one for a pink for super GS / steep downhill.
also he made me happy saying he's been using homer mainly these days ....even for super GS.
he said frank runs a homer front & back now & actually runs the back past straight! .... he said it's very bizarre but he kills it so it does work.
also said they go for super hard wheels w' same duro front & back.
instead of using a soft back wheel for grip they angle the truck accordingly to avoid wiping out.........he said to just go thru all the angles 1 degree at a time......so i'm gonna get a set of yellow zigz & orange ones to check it out.
also , on his stealth, he doesn't use wedges on back & no risers on front, he just uses shockpads to get it even & low as possible.
he does use a wedge on one of his decks but only like 4/5 degree hard wedges...gotta get that khiro kit
said  to trust the decks & trucks coz they're designed to avoid bite.
steve p said he copies kowalski, cbark, pappas, frank b, etc & then works from there...........he humble enough to admit he's always learning & happy to share the info' he's gathered (i try not to push it, it's hard  coz he's real nice)
anyways that's as much as i can think off top of my head....i re-checked his msgs to be sure i had info right so read into it what u will....took me lots of sucking-up to get that info, keep it safe bruh...lol
p.s. i have NO wisdom, i'm just a parrot telling u what a pro told me...........i'm just keen to learn & respect ppl who take the time to help me understand what the best guys do to get them on that podium.
