thanks all... i'm just going to find a long carboard box and put the deck in with paper/clothes and put the trucks and wheels in my suitcase.. :) so stoked am going to be skating the swiss alps in two days! :D

get a body bag or park bag and wrap your board and trucks with clothes or leathers if you have them.

all the protection you need.

and if you don't put a fragile sticker on it and they break it they'll say "we didnt' know it was so fragile?"

Rupert what ever you do dont let them put a fragile sticker/tag on it because you are then admitting that it is fragile and that they are not liable for any damage done. i found this out the hard way......

Rupert, this ahs probably occured to you but i would definately put your board in some sort of covering, board bag or like sean's stylish box and foam thing. My brother's cricket bat once got shreded going through the luggage process, and that was in the "special" luggage dep.
