Yeah I see what your saying, I'll check out the Asym later today and maybe use a belt sander to fix one side, chop in half then use that, my idea was to bolt it with the deck bolts then rout the edges, ive seen videos and they say just to cut most of it beside about a cm then use the router, here's a video of people doing it

I think that is a flat template for his router not the concaves deck.... Conrad I'm not being picky but is the nose a little asymmetrical?
If it is maybe rule a center line on the template top and bottom. Then get a center line on the deck. Carefully clamp the template to the deck with the lines lined up. Then route one side. Flip the template then reclamp it all lined up and route the second side. I'll be straigt up. I have never done it but I have been thinking about how to use my router for a while.
Dunno?????

absolutely no problems Conrad - that looks sweet - put up some profile (side on shots) so we can see the concave and overall shape.  nice work bruvva!

Hi guy's I am new to this site but am stoked to have found it.  I have been building boards for about the last 14 months and could never stop as it is too much fun.  I have been caring for my wife who struggles with anxiety and depression, but is doing really well.  So board building and painting became my sanctuary in my down time to keep me sane.  I have developed my own brand which you are welcome to check out. I am looking forward to getting involved with your online community and connecting with other builders and designers like myself.  Cheers to getting creative.
