Tis, he did really well. Keep in mind that it was one on one though so the two of them never actually raced against each other. A big part of this race was pot luck of whos name got drawn out of the hat with yours.

yeh dude that racing was so tight, it was anybodies race the entire day. it was so close and every time i was at the start line i was nervous coz i had no idea what was gonna happen. people were battling so hard so get the good lines it was super crazy, some really epic riding. dudes are coming out of the wood work and ripping shit all over everybody, so awesome to see.
i was actually very supprised when i won, seeing as me and dennis crossed the line at the same time in the finals, they had to go to the cameras on the finish line in slo-mo to determine the winner!
ive gotta give a big hi-five to leigh, he was so rock solid all day and was really shredding hard, by the looks of things you would say hes been in races before. once you get your push starts faster your gonna be a real hard man to catch buddy! dani and bow were ripping hard too, bow had a great stack (saw it on footage i'll get it posted up soon) but couldnt get to his board in time, and i remember seeing dani go head to head down the last straight with brad NS (i think) and just cross the line first, took it nicely. you guys rip

Steve Daddow got knocked out before Leigh! Yea dude Bow was fine, you worry to much Matty. I have the biggest natural high of my life and cant wait for tomorrow so I can go and "rip up Kingscote"

MATE! What a weekend. First day in Sydney bloke dislocates his shoulder on Mt.Kiera. Needed an ambo and a magic green epi pen. Second day arrived at Pump station to find that it was wet as a dolphin or some other marine animal. Yatesy does his knee in for the second time in two days during his first practice run. Bow wins prize for stack of the day and walks away with a framed M.O.T.H photo. Leigh places 5th, yes 5th and walks away with a pair of Timeship slide gloves for being the "Dark Horse" of the race. Daniel wins one race of 3 and walks away with the biggest grin on his face and biggest desire to bomb hills he has EVER had. Jacko wins the day against Dennis from Norway by a WHEEL! That is no exageration, a WHEEL!!
