Hey man.
I'm around about size us9.
The MM is a really
good deck, it's really light and thin (it only
weighs a few grams more than a deelite avenger) and it has heaps of foot room. The only thing I don't like about it is the wheelbase. I'm thinking of cutting mine down and taking the back truck forward a bit.
I like the wheelbase and tail a bit better on the avenger but you can cut down the tail on the MM like I'm thinking of doing. Also keep in mind I'm only 5'8-9".
Man the humidity is harsh. Walking up hills makes me sweat.
Coupled with the fact Ive got to wear business clothes......doh!
The skate scene up here is pretty awesome. I have done my usual thing and chickened out of doing a lot of gnarly stuff, but the guys seem cool about that too.
I think the traffic makes it tough to ride on the roads, but Im sure the suburbs have some awesome stuff. I have been riding in the city by myself and with other riders, and been footbraking friggin everywhere like a pansy. ;)
yeah, bought the Glyde earlier this week. didn't actually think about the FSM. i guess they're fairly similar boards though and i'd rather support oz products anyway.
Ok dude yep for sure i live about an hour from kenilworth there is a nice road up there with some sweeping corners probley only like 1km long but.
Will have to get in contact when it comes closer, but theres no public transport out that way.
Hey there my incredibly tall friend. Hows things??
Yea I love the glide man but I have only really been using it for free riding purposes. I havent got it set for downhill so havent gone over 60 on it I dont reckon. Tis an awesome board though, massively wide platfor so heaps of room for the feet to move around. Good concave and the little wing at the back is great for foot braking as you can lock your heel into place and your foot cant move around the place.
look at the date. and give the helmet deal a rest.
its been said again and again. Im not trying to be a dick here, but dont jump on a bandwagon just to gain some internet kudos..
