well if youve never ridden a DH setup before you should be slapped in the face for wanting to blow all your dosh on a set of smokies for your first board... work your way up dude you only really need precision trucks when your really starting to push the limits and are keen to get into the race scene... some people still rip the race scene on randals and grizzleys and shit dude so having precision trucks doesnt make you faster

i dont like the look of that pagen... looks a bit sketchy. i would go for the dropthrough one if i was getting a board in that shape

wobbles are all in the head dude.... but changing your bushings might work a bit. grizzleys are a dope downhill truck put yellow khiros KBAC2s in them and you will be laughing

sure if you have the money... Smokeys are probably a little overkill for a first dedicated board.

You also said before that you were going 65 at EOTH. How do you know you were going that fast?

yeah, jacko's right about the second part of montacute being too slow. you need the speed from the top section to make it any fun. good for tuck training though.

i've never made my own gloves before, cos i've seen how easy homemade gloves fall apart. just do it the way ur planning. velcro pucked gloves are the best option, but its hard to imitate the ones on the market and they just fall apart too soon. stuck on pucks tend to be more reliable and last longer. try and find leather gloves and shoe goo is probably the best option.
once you start using them a lot more and you find u are wearing down the pucks a lot quicker, you'll probably want to buy some decent slide gloves. but for now, homemade will work fine.

Hey just if ne one wants to know, it's not serious or anything, but Alexandra Av. In Dulwich has just been resurfaced....SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO smooth. Too bad not enough slope...but it's like hovering over the ground its so incredibly smooth.

thanks u 2. yea I'm not gd at controlling speed. But if I have time I might look at Montecute. Neway, I'm going to be away next week. But when I get back I might try some carparks with friends. I've never done them but they look fun and not "too" fast lol. Does anyone have a comment about my idea of home made sliding gloves? *QUOTE OF ME EARLIER* : "I was gonna just sand or cross hatch some UHMW or chopping board r sumthing, and then either use super glue or shoe goo to stick it onto the gardening or mechanics gloves. Any tips?" Does that sound alrite?

Thanks
