Ok, every one reading this what WILL is trying to say is that he wants to get, what is basically his first proper board, seeing as though we, as his friends, are based around loaded dervishs and ceviches will is interested in getting a carving type deck, light agile the twist is that we are all starting to head to downhill decks like the hellcat, evo, glyde etc. Will wants a board that is RELATIVELY agile carvable, can slide nicely and can do some light to moderate downhill.

Cheers
Sounds alot like a dervish.

How many of these threads exhist with the exact same subject now. Do your reasearch, get the stats on the board and make the decision yourself. Read all the hundreds of other threads that have been posted asking the exact same question and check silverfish.
ok but what board do u have and what do u do when u skate

dude, seriously...you just made a what board should i get thread just before this one.

i don't mean to be rude but if you want a place to chat with your friends, get on msn or facebook or something.
silverfish is the place for these questions...
dont say you dont want a board because other people have them. there is a reason why alot of people have dervish's.. because they are a good board!!! but like dani said, there are a lot of forums/post about this very question you ask and you will get better info if you check out them.. i have a dervish and love it!! only problem is the grip it comes with wears off pretty easy and then it gets really slippery, specially when a bit wet!
I gotta agree with Dani, Ching, Stephen and Bowditch here. It's fine to ask questions, but if your question includes information that shows that you have done some research you're more likely to get people to respond in a helpful way.
seriously is this the same group of kids?
GUYS
we r not going to tell u what single board u should get, if u r lucky we may drop a couple of brand names for u to choose from but come on guys ur gonna have to think for yourself eventually
my advice to u go to hopkin.com.au, go to completes (or decks) and choose the category of board u want, so lets say carve
click on the link that says longboard-carve
if you are not sure about which brand you want ignore those name that are shown in front of you and scroll down
straight up we have the FSU classic race, the landyachtz dinghy, landyachtz urban assault, a whole bunch of loaded's and an omni pintail
their are also several other pages for you to look through, but anyway
choose the few that fit into you price range, then do some reaserch to find out which ones you think would give you the most enjoyment, and if you still can't decide perhaps give hop a call and ask which ones he think will suit you best out of your chosen couple
enough with the silly threads

p.s. sorry about poor grammar and spelling, im only getting a c in english haha
