UHMW (Ultra-High Molecular Weight)
ive been using some "Mother Puckers " From PC they are a very nice puck good size ,shape and hardness !!

ill find out a price !! and post here !!
Acetel or its propriety name Delrin is the best stuff. Landyachtz uses UHMW which is a type of Polypropylene and may be slightly cheaper. You buy this stuff from Plastix.

Acetal provides high strength and stiffness, enhanced dimensional stability and is easy to machine. It is characterized by a low coefficient of friction , good wear properties and chemical resistance.

UHMWPE is lightweight, has high tensile strength, is easily machinable, self lubricating, shatter resistant, long wearing, abrasion & corrosion resistant.
80mm by 80mm by 15mm thick with velcro.

I think its called UHFMW or something along those lines.

Or

Go to your local plastics shop, Buy a roll of plastic 7cm in diameter, ask them to sut it into 3cm slices, and your away.
Hardest compound avaliable.

(thats what i did, just need to make the gloves :S)
I've been using the 100 by 100 and they are great.
From base of palm all the way to start of fingers.
@ 15mm thick I think it's less likely you will get wear on finger tips.
Dosent interfear with grabing rail at all
You need to get the fuzzy Velcro stiched into palm of glove I can supply that to if need be.
I'll be bringing some to Bathurst .
Again if interested 0408873374:)
I just tested out your pucks yesterday hamish and they slide silky smooth, and aren't loud either. I think fendy will be getting some off you, he liked them as well.
