Skate Australia : A Longboarding Film in Production

G'day Guys! I'm Anton and I'm posting to let you all know about a new film in production called Skate Australia. It's a roadtrip documentary, skating the cliffs, beaches, small towns and big cities of the East Coast. We're looking for more skaters to be a part of the action, so send us a message and you guys could be part of Australia's first internationally distributed Longboarding DVD!

Our Current Schedule begins in Northern NSW on January the 12, and finishes in Melbourne on January the 20th. We're already shooting around Brisbane now, and we'll be hitting the Gold Coast, Noosa, Byron, Coffs, Newcastle, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and heaps more! So if you live anywhere near these places, keep yourself free to come and have a skate when we get there. Also feel free to hit us up with suggestions for cool places to shoot. We're going for national landmarks and beautiful aussie scenery.

To far up in the country? We are on the East coast just like everyone else.
Does this mean you are gunna draw a line at brisbane and not worry about anything north of there.

think about how far that is to travel and they are only planning on doing it in like 2 or 3 weeks... its a fair way away and i dont think you should complain if they arent coming to your neck of the woods, but instead be grateful they are actually putting the time/effort/money into even doing the project...

Ok guys here are the times we will be in different cities for the first major road-trip shoot of Skate Australia!

Monday 12th Jan - Leave Bris. Stop in Coffs, then Drive to Sydney
Tuesday 13th - Darling Harbour
Wednesday 14th - Manly Beach and Bondi
Thursday 15th - Surry Hills and Kings Cross
Friday 16th - Day Trip to Woolongong
Saturday 17th - Master of the Hill Comp. Blue Mountains
Sunday 18th - Canberra, Lake Burley Griffin and O'malley
Monday 19th - Canberra, Black Mountain - Then Leave for Melb
Tuesday 19th - Melbourne, St. Kilda boardwalk and city.
Wednesday 20th - Drive Back to Bris!

To all you mad skaters who are gonna be anywhere near these areas at these times, SEND us a message and be a part of it. The days within Sydney are still open for new ideas, so if you know mad spots then let us know. Remember we're going for unique aussie scenery and landmarks. The sort of stuff that you can ONLY find in sunny Australia!

Also we need somewhere to crash for a night in Melbourne, and maybe in Sydney before Master of Hill because there'll be 6 of us piled into my uncle's house and he might get the shits :D
