ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

G'day Guys! I'm Anton and I'm posting to let you all know about a new film in production called Skate Australia. It's a roadtrip documentary, skating the cliffs, beaches, small towns and big cities of the East Coast. We're looking for more skaters to be a part of the action, so send us a message and you guys could be part of Australia's first internationally distributed Longboarding DVD!

Our Current Schedule begins in Northern NSW on January the 12, and finishes in Melbourne on January the 20th. We're already shooting around Brisbane now, and we'll be hitting the Gold Coast, Noosa, Byron, Coffs, Newcastle, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne and heaps more! So if you live anywhere near these places, keep yourself free to come and have a skate when we get there. Also feel free to hit us up with suggestions for cool places to shoot. We're going for national landmarks and beautiful aussie scenery.

The Website is www.SkateAustralia.com.au and it should be up and running very soon. For now check out www.myspace.com/skateaustralia and search for Skate Australia on Facebook.

Email us at SkateAustralia@gmail.com. We'd love to hear from you!

Cheers,

Anton.

jk.
Hi Anton,
Have you checked out the "mexicans" main web/forum/wiki,

http://charliedontskate.com/

Have a look at the Forums, maybe post in the Sandpit?
Wayne.
cool, all helps grow the sport... I hope you got a VW kombi in the roadtrip, not an eastcoast trip without a kombi somewhere in it...
hey mate the goldie crew would definetly be up for a roll..we have some rad fast hills on the coast and would be happy to show you around...my friend also shapes his own boards so we could go out and get a few shots of his factory and the boys doing some soul ridding along the beach..

If your going to be at master of the hill. Why not check out Sea Cliff Bridge on the Sunday. It is all down hill super smooth with a nice long steepish run in. Its "The Gateway to the Illawarra" and screams landmark.

It would be an awesome shot to get 20 - 30 longboarders flying round the curves. What do you guys think
I dont even think 20 people are neccessary. If there were a group of about 4 or 5 ripping down it in leathers and close together it would be sweet. Regardless it would be a great shot.
True, Yeah leathers n helmets for sure. Anton?
haha nah no kombi! All we got is a pimped out mitsubishi starwagon.. ohh yeah dawg :)

guys how many times does this have to be said, if you are making plans for something special, do it by IM not in open space. The site has unwanted watchers and what we do is ..............illegal, sorry to sound like a complete wanker but keep it tight and quiet where you are planning field trips for scientific investigations of gravity and velocity. I like the sound of leathers and helmets though, very sensible.

Sorry Judge won't happen again. Scratch that place then, there are heaps of other better places...
nice...unfortunately i wont be around...definitely will check the dvd out once its released!
Gday mate good chating with you, will catch up when you hit new south
