i got some pucks that are ideal size for palm pucks, that have a very tiny bevelled edge to them.

does anybody have any thoughts or experiences that they would like to share about corian and their use as slide pucks?

where did you get those Neddo?

there you go leigh :)
I ordered some samples off the site a while back but they were like 2"x2" so they weren't really useful. They slide like crazy and wear slow as but.
yeah i asked for 4" x 4" (approx) and i got hell good sizes.
i use the small sample size corians and i love them. my hands are pretty small so they're good for me. plus they're free! hmm think i'll try asking for the 4x4.

Ching.... just realized im using my bf's account :S
i ordered some off the site too and got two 2"x 2" pucks and got one 10"x 10".
too small and too big for my liking. so i'm gonna have to cut the big one down and order some again.
the other ones you have look a lot more beveled. are they also from Du Pont?
indeed they are leigh, "silver birch" and "ruby" are the two other colours.
any comments about corian and their use?
They're great for smaller stuff, slide like butter and offer almost no resistance at all. The only downfalls they have are because of their harness they make alot of noise and they also wear considerably when put under alot of pressure/heat.
Oh and they let out this sickly sweet smell after you've done a slide.

rad, i just put in a request then.
me too
As in slides that don't go on forever. They heated up noticeably and started to wear harder from the small stuff i was doing.
