Its time for the 3rd K-Valley outlaw showdown!
This is a fun little track with high speed sweepers and a tight hairpin corner tucked away in the beautiful Kangaroo Valley.
Minimum safety requirements are Helmet and Gloves. Full faces and leathers are recommended but not mandatory. If you value your skin i would say wear leather, but if you don't have any don't worry, you can still race as long as you got a lid.
There is a campground at the bottom of the hill so there will be free-riding of the local hills on the saturday followed by camping and racing on sunday.
Entry fee will be around $25, if you wish to contribute more to help pay for petrol for shuttle drivers that would be epic.
There will now be a 32-man heat tree, so if you did not get your name on the riders list it wouldnt hurt to show up, because you will probably still get to race.
There will be cash prizes and also give-aways thanks to Sector 9 and Orangatang. If anyone else would like to get involved as an event sponsor please contact me and we can get some banners organized.
We need helpers! Anyone who wants to help with marshaling, start/finish lines, shuttling, radios and just general radness contact me ASAP.
I would like this event to be documented and filmed, so if there are any cinematographers out there who know their stuff and would like to help film please contact me. I have camera equipment and will be able to swing some dollar but only if your serious and can prove your camera skills.

A 32-man tree with 4-man heats and one consi-final means 16 races down the hill, which might be all you can fit time-wise on that hill considering the traffic and the need to get riders back to the top, so yeah, good move.
Glad to see you using the rankings for seeding. They're not perfect (yet), but they'll still work pretty well.
I'm coming down to watch and help out, camping with Lisa and little Ed too.
DIBS ON ONE OF THOSE SPOTS!!!!
format has changed a little so i will be running a 32 man heat tree. That means there will be a few spots left for people to race. That will be first come first serve on the morning. If you wanna race and your name is not on the list you should be there BEFORE 8am to get your name on the rider's list.
Qualifying will not be run, but instead we will go from ASRA rankings. Its the easiest way possible. We will still run practice first and then get into the elimination rounds. It will be a long day so that is the best way to utilise time.
ok so it seems that some people got the message, some people didnt, i dont know why...
anyway the race rd is Bendeela Power Station Rd, just off Bendeela rd. you can find it on google maps. Riders should be at the top of the hill BEFORE 8am so we can do a meeting, take down names for those who are registered and organize you into heats (and of course practice runs)
If you are not meant to be there, PLEASE DONT BE THERE. depending on how many people show up will determine the size of the race brackets, but i will let you know on the day.
A few of us will probably be camping on the saturday night, and i ask everyone that does the same to NOT SKATE THE HILLS IN K-VALLEY BEFORE THE RACE becuase you might put the event at risk....
hahahah suckers! SKATE ALL THE HILLS AND SHRED AS MUCH GNAR AS YOU CAN! SKATE ALL SATURDAY IF YOU CAN! K-VALLEY HILLS ARE RAD... just please dont get hurt and shit.
thats coz you have not clicked on 'attending' on the right ian... i sent the message out to all those who have selected 'attending'
if you dont know where the race hill is, and have not got a message telling you where it is, thats coz you blew it and you will have to figure it out or ask someone.
Lance - I'm happy to take hand of Josh when he's down here. We'll probably stay at my house in Sydney Friday night and drive down early Saturday, ride a few hills on the way. And I'll make sure he gets back to the airport Sunday arvo for the flight back. A flight on the later side is best to make sure we have enough time to finish the race and get back to sydney, it's almost a 3-hr drive from memory.
Jacko - nice one dude. I can't wait for this one. Gonna be so much fun!
