Hey Nat it's probably the most "legit" event in the conehead calendar as the slalom is in a great location at a bike track, great for families with a playground, BBQ etc. The Ditch race has a bit of a bush picnic atmosphere. You really need a car to get around Canberra though but I'm sure you could catch a lift with someone. The slalom hill is not very steep and the course is usually TS (3 ft ramp start). The ditch is gnarly but fun! (hopefully I'll get around more than 3 cones this year). Hope to see you there. I think I'm right is saying you need to be a full paid up ASRA member to enter now (not expensive).
