Yeah I own a drop speed a very nice board thats for sure, stand ups are breeze on it also a wicked alround board. The one thing that i didnt like so much was the platform was a bit to short for my likey while railing corners hard.
wats the wheelbase like for goin quick seein as its pretty short and also how do you like the platform for your tuck

I had no problem with a tuck it on the board and i'm about 176cm, I found it hard to find the back of the board after using a glyde drop-thru with the wings, but once your use to it its a pretty solid deck. Yates uses a drop speed for both freeride and downhill. Alot of the landy guys who arent rocking a evo setup will most likley be on a drop speed.

the dropspeed is a rad board ive just started using one for freeridding but its also a great speedboard..its got sharp concave and a nice wide platform for my big feet...and yatsey swears by it.......recomended for sure
do you recon it'd be much harder to use for DH than something like a glyde cus of its smaller wheelbase??

mate it looks like a sick board, being a landy its pretty hard to buy a shitty board off them, i really like the look of it for a DH and freeride board, got a nice nose and tail on it too which i like the look of, kinda looks like a nice stiff dervish
Also if you top mount your trucks on the drop speed it rides so good aswell i would highly recommend this board!!!!!!!
the wheel base isnt that much shorter than the glyde but its all about what your looking for...the glydes an amazing board so stable and loves the turns but if your after a freeride board id get a dropspeed...im working with pete on a new glyde freeride deck but its only in the design phase so could be a a few months before is out...
