And possibly have a North Grampians Rd - Halls Gap downhill event on the side.

Hmmm, it's a long way from Sydney...

For an outlaw, nope. For a big event, where you had a race down the main street of the town the day before the Stawell Gift, then yeah, I reckon.

In other words, for such a distant spot, you'd have to Go Big.

Is this where you silly old buggers hang out online?
Better dust offf the old Powell Peralta Deck and join you for a skate in a bowl somewhere.

cheers
Crooky

Jeff,
there is a registration form on www.charliedontskate.com
It takes a couple of days to get going because Hambo has to filter out all the nebots. Lurk in the meantime! Checkout the sessions forum.
There should be a session at Newport tonight (8-4-09).

I'll turn up to something sooner or later but I'm a bit of a hermit skater who should get out of my cave more. The thing is, living in the Eastern suburbs there's a hell of a lot of hills outside my front door.

Mick,
Better check CDS.
Bacchus Marsh might not be on tonight.(1-04-09) Try Newport instead (again excellent for returnees.....bring beer!).
Elwood on 15th will be one for you....easy to make roll in into classic old bowl, just made for long boards, followed later in the evening by a multideck carpark run.
As to the Physio.....mine says skateboarding is the ideal exercise for rebuilding knee strength!
