Yate-Dawg ripping at Gold Rush

Just got back in, very buggered so im not going to do a race report, but Yatesy killed it today, he ended up placing 6th on one of the most gnarliest DH courses out there... K-rimes took first, Nate Lang took 2nd, Mischo took 3rd and Dalua took 4th... It was a gnar track with fast straights into hairpins... it was a toss up between footbreaks and speed checks. Speed checks were very unforgiving if you didnt have them dialed but proved to be fast if you got it right. I unfortunately got 3rd in the first round from scrubbing on the last corner, took a bad line and paid the price, my day was over. However since i was out i spent the day filming and cheering on my ozzie brother.

just got off skype with Yatesy and let me tell you he was queitly chuffed and i let him know the ozzies were all cheering him on and really stoked seeing our best mixing it up witht the world. Said he had his best day of racing.. he couldn't stop smailing really a treat to see.. Good job Yatesy next race Jacko..

6th place is rad,so good in a feild of riders like that..,the top 4 placings speaks for its self,,K-rimes and nate the hairpin masters...keep rippin aussies,..i can see an aussie podium real soon..
