One of the axels on my caliber 44's has something wrong with it. I have tried 4 different nuts on this one axel and can still twist them down to the end of the thread with my fingers. I know of 2 other guys that have the same problem and 1 has had his wheel fly off while riding.

If anyone knows how to fix this problem please reply! until then im double nutting the axel.. not that it will make much difference but it will give me some confidence it wont fly off haha

replace the nuts, general rule of thumb for nyloc nuts is they are only good to be put on/taken off 3 times, this is from my experience being a mechanic/fitter for the last 20 years

what you just wrote didn't really sound too good

get new ones and see if it fixes it, they are cheap

get new axle nuts

fresh ones are super hard to crank on my calibers..

Dan at Voodoo has Tons of new axle nuts..

hit him up..

funny real funny, nuts.

I tried my mates nuts that go on his normally on mine and they didnt work either
aw nuts, I hope I don't have a nut problem!

The axel is threaded i would say,

and one of these tools can fix it..

Depends on where on the axel, in your case the nut cant screw on at all. it can look normal still, but if you look on the thread on your axel for any kind of dents at all. But one of the Pig tools wont get ya wrong
oh shit i thought you couldnt get them on at all, i read it all over again. And it is the nuts. Are you using nylock ones?
Well best bet is to pop in your local skatestore and pick up some fresh ones, better than used trailer trash nuts
if that dont  work, Ask them at teh store
the thread on the axle is probably too 'low' for the nuts, ie. the peaks of the thread doesnt push very far into the nylon.

try and find some nuts with a deeper looking nylon part
