How to convince my mum.

See, my birthday is coming up soon. And I want to get a new board, because I'm just not really satisfied with my board. It's a Drifter. But I want to get the BC Moray. I love the board, it has everything I want with it. My Dad doesn't mind, but my Mum just gets angry at me. I said I'm willing to pay for a bit of it, but she just gets pissed. How can I convince her?

She says stuff like 'THAT THING COSTED $250! YOU'RE NOT GETTING A NEW ONE'.

I'm annoyed, because I want to do lots more other things on my board. So I want the BC Moray.

I know, but I'd rather get one for my birthday. I've gotten things much more expensive every year for birthday/Christmas.

And I want to put a bit of money into it as well.

i had the same problem with mine, took a few visits and chats to robbo about the quality n stuff, still the same about me getting a charly, just tell her its worth it, i can sell it in a year and get the money back, or just nag ;) haha go well in school? i have a deal with my dad if i get straight a's and b in latin then i can get a new board!

plus they maybe in a financial downside and that's one of the last thing his parents want to do .
