Has anybody ridden 42 degree munkaes 190mm for freeride, or would like the 49 degree baseplate be better?

yes, but how dead depends on what bushings your using
oi ian, what your thoughts on 175mm hangars and 49 plates? handle 70+ k's and mad freeriding?
Get some kahas, ive got them with like yellow barrels in them(im super light) and there heaps responsive but also super stable.

munkaes dont feel much like any cast trucks...

great for going fast,

get the 175 on the 42 plate for all round would be my advice,

I have, with a mixture of 85a and 87a's. They were fairly dead until you started moving at a decent speed, they they excel.
I would like to try the 49 baseplate with the 190 hangars, I think that would be something fun to try.
I ride 42 degree 182mm. Rad as for fast shit. Low, strong, grippy as fuck. Makes everything that was gnar feel easy.
On the other hand, terrible for low speeds. The bushing seat is really deep/restrictive so it doesnt give it the agility and deep turn of most cast trucks and some precisions. I have heard rumours that the 175mm have a new bushing seat that is shallower? If your getting munkaes go 49 degree 182mm or 42 degree 175mm.
Unless you are breaking 70km/h regularly precisions are not necessary.

Cheers
