so i plan to buy a set of wide indy style trucks for DH and freeriding. which do you guys reckon would be the best value and/or ride the best? also which would be the strongest?

indy 215s
10'' gullwing missions
tracker darts 219s

im not so much worried about stability coz i can just de-wedge the rear. also, post if you know of any really wide indystyle trucks, i was only going off the hopkin stock.

The indy's or the trackers are about the same with the trackers being the strongest. The Gullwings are a shorter struck
Indy 215's are ideal, the straight pivot makes it turn nicer than the trackers bent pivot IMO. 219mm is also too damn wide.
tracker dart 219,s are twitchy as but alright, i used them for a few years before randalls were redily available here in oz and i discovered the internet, they are strong as i last used them set up on a topmount with amber 92mm flys as a dolly to move two upright pianos and they showed no signs of bending or fatigue
Thats innovation at its finest

put some good bushings in the trackers and you will get heaps of turn/lean/stability... with trucks its all about what you put in them to make em come alive.
i just set up a board with tracker 219's and its farkin rad, heaps of lean heaps of turn when you need it
Well i don't know which one is better cause ive only had gullwings but if you want ill sell mine to you for $30

INDY 215s! rule over trackers any day of the week. Bent pivot trucks are exactly that.... bent.

See that massive standy Im doing in the little photo to the left of my name... Indy 215s.

just be aware the indy kingpin is usually shorter than on rkp trucks so may need replacing to run 2x barrels, and are the baseplates drilled old and new school?
If you want to use Indies most people either have to hammer out the kingpin and insert a longer one or buy indy hybrids; a truck that a shop in the USA sells that comes with a force basplate and sabre bushings as stock.

Or you just put a venom/Sabre in the bottom and leave the top bushing stock. no need to faff around replacing anything, turns like a ninja on amphetamines, stable as a middle class adelaide accountant.

On my indy 215's (Better than tracker IMO) I run a white jim-z top on the bottom and a purple eliminator top perfect for downhill awesome gangsta lean. But you will need to replace the king pin with a longer one i used a Randal.
Dont take this the wrong way im genuinely curios , but why? If standard trucks feel so good why are reverse kingpin trucks the norm?
