ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

Hi all,

I'm new here. I live in NZ and have been making decks for a bit over 3 years now.

I have recently got in to making DH decks. I was suggested to take a look here from a silverfish member.
Any way, here's what I have made lately.

as i said, I love your boards especially that topmount.
Nice line up Will, that topmount looks alot like my Wefunk. What are the layers involved there.

Thank you Robbo.

This is what I said on my website 'Twin torsion box, hybrid interlocked balsa/hardwood core.'

So fiberglass, ply, v-lam hardwood, and balsa are the core components.

I'm trying to keep the Top mount close to my chest at the moment as it's still a prototype really...

Cheers,
Will

apparently Alex (creator of Wefunk), was very impressed by the design and craftsmanship of these boards. its about time we see something with the brilliant characteristics of Wefunk.
Nice work dude.
Very similar to something I made a few years back.

After I made the core I used 2mm Aircraft Ply (3ply) for the top and carbon on the base.
Superlight with no flex.
Interesting build there. Looks cool.
