Yes indeed leadfoot it is a very fun board.
So how much did your Kahalanis cost Leadfoot?
when i tried to work it out on the currency converter i still did not get the number it was telling me.
Man thats some gnar Matty!! Kooky, you gotta sand them babys back being metal, start with maybe an 800 grade snadpaper then work your way to the softer ones untis you get till about 12,00 or 15,00. The finer the paper the less evident scratches will be in you paint work and make sure you wet snad those babies not dry sand. Then you gotta pop into your local hardware and get a can of ETCH primer. Not primer, ETCH primer. This will stop your bare metal from rusting. You wont need much just enough to cover the silver, almost a dust coat. The other thing you can do with primer is before you sand put a dust coat over the intended. This way you can see whats been sanded by where your primer is. Once you have sanded all your primer off, put some more on and start again wiith a finer grade of paper. Remember that you cant justb sand with 800 and then jump straight to 15,00 you have to work thorugh the grades slowly getting rid of those bigger scratches. Once you are all sanded and the metal is looking quite dull and lifeless you will chuck on your first coat of paint. Make sure you wipe the trucks down before you paint though to stop little bits of dust ruining the perfect paint job. If you are using a solid colour a clear coat shouldnt be neccesary but if your using a fancy schmasny metallic then you will need a clear coat aswell (also able to buy these in cans). Ease uup with the clear coat though because it runs like a bitch, but beware if youput it on to dry it will be all orange peely and look like crap. You will have to put 2 to 3 coats of clear on wet to the point that it's just about to run but doesnt. That will make them look all glassy and schmick. Give us a yell if you got any queries. What do ya know, 5 years of Automotive Spray Painting finally paid off. I could cut and polish them for you to :P

Peace
Dani
15,00 & 12,00?? I meant 1,500 & 1,200
Be sure to put up photos, If you screw up the clear coat and it looks no good, just give it a day or so to cure, sand the clear back and do it again. No dramas
Phil my broad shouldered friend!! Russell is coming over here tomorrow for new years so I will send your randals over with him. He will probably see you before I do

a good place for second hand leathers is "high side leathers" in salisbury brisbane about forty mins drive from the goldie , they sell second hand leathers on a consignment basis they have heaps in stock plus do repairs/alterations to improve fit and he makes really comfy unrestrictive custom back protectors

ok I need to know ( not that I can buy them right now ) but where do you get good leathers in Oz .
do I have to head to the bike shops like over here?
I find the jackets are to restrictive in the shoulders ..I like to be able to put my hands over my head.
and the one I have now with the shoulder pads feels to cramped .
any insights?
