ASRA - Australian Skateboard Racing Association

The round lipped, centreset ones, I think they come in 70mm, 76mm, 81mm in 78a-yellow and 80a-red.
Anyone ridden? Can someone please give a quick review.
I'm looking at the 70mm yellows...but any is good.
Cheers.

dude any wheel will be sweet for getting sideways if its broken in nicely... ive got a set of purple InHeats that are pretty round at the lips, nicely scuffed but barely coned with your name all over em if your keen...
jonty i think the wheel you are looking for doesn't exist in soft wheels.
the fact is all soft wheels including the freeride style wheels, are grippy. yeah they all have different slide characteristics, but at the end of the day its up to you as the rider to make them slide through your ability.

maybe your after hard wheels which basically have no grip at all - "Hard Wheel Sliding" starting 30sec in.
the dude proves though that you can pretty much do exactly the same thing on the softest/biggest of the otangs as you can on the hard (94a) slide wheels. its all about technique.
dude that video is nuts
how big was that standup at the start and those friggen 360s!
WTH!!!!
if you want to sideways on a big wheel, check out these puppies http://www.moskateshop.com/ecommerce/?loja=151697&modulo=depart... they also come in 70mm
134 bucks for them HAHA only someone like you would buy them Sean.

I guess you and Jacko are right, however I still reckon my Drifters, though soft, couldn't grip for shit.
Might look at either the 70mm centreset rounded RFs in 80a, or the lime RETRO freerides, I've heard lime is the best reflex thane or if anyone is getting them in Aus anytime soon, the new ABEC11 freerides.
Is lime the best duro?
Do the retro freerides or RFs leave lines? I reckon it's part of the fun ;P

Dude, they're the classic thane freerides, I really want them, but someone bought the only set like 1 day before me haha, so I'm looking for something else.
