hardware and bushings

so everyone says upgrade your bushings so i bouught some green and yellow cone venoms supercarves a while ago.. i just tried to put them on my dervish (randal 180's) and they dont fit with the standard kingpin. i was gonna buy new kingpins from boardshop but they only have randal replacement kingpins which i assume will be the same size. so do either hopshop or cr8ive skate stock longer kingpins. or is the randal kingpin longer than the normall one.
also i weigh 65kg and if there are any really good bushing setups you would recommend for a dervish ill get those aswell i guess.

Find a bolt shop in your area, and take in the kingpin and ask for the same bolt but a bit longer (2.75" or 3"). Make sure you ask for a grade 8 bolts too. Also get the nuts. It was about 2 bucks a piece for me.

Kingpins are always 3/8" UNF and vary between
2.5" long for Indy's,
2.75" long for stock Randals
or 3" long for DH double barrel setups.

The UNF series is a fine thread and not many hardware stores stock it. Your best bet is any good skateshop or a fastener supply.

the one i got is 3' but too big. like wont fit a standard skate tool. had to use a whole bunch of wierd tools till we got one to work.

I can't remember what the old randal was but the current randal kingpin is 2.5", Bear 2.75" and randal DH pin is 3".

so i have a landyachtz chinook with randal 180s i want a bushings which will freeride well but will do well at DH what do you reccomend

lol. those $2.60 kingpins obviously werent grade 8. my board was turning by itself so i decided to just put little bushings and the randal kingpin back in and one of the 3'' kingpins had a big 30 degree bend in it.
