Hi everyone. Just wanted to ask what people know about Vault skateboards. They look like a cheap option for a drop deck skatebord(which I have not tried). Are they any good? cheers

especially at that price....
i mean, an evo is only 160 aus + shipping...and from A'drain its 250 delievered...plus stickers! and to tassie to took 4 days not 4 weeks.....
meh, i wouldn't....but thats just me...if you didn't want a Rayne/kebbek/LY....talk to ash about the glyde boards...i'm sure he'd sort you up something....

it could work, just need someone to take the gamble! with a 35 degree truck with the wedging, it wouldnt be too bad. if your not too heavy the 9ply should really be an issue, the evo comes as a 9 ply.
I've seen them in the flesh.
The riding platform is quite small and the deck is narrow at something like 8.5 inches.
Its shorter than an evo aswell.
Definately not my cup of tea at 6'3" with size 15 shoes.
Flex was fine for the size but like I said its a very small board.
Suitable for someone say 5'2" with size 7 shoes.
Chuck the trucks away. Theyre pressure diecast which is very brittle and prone to cracking/breaking. Not the sort of thing you'd want at anytime while riding.

regardless....
i'd personally rather spend just a little more and get a second hand STEAL off the fish...OR ring HOP, Boardshop or A-drain and work out a deal/layby....but thats just me....
Thanks everyone for your advice. The last comment by FItz sealed the deal for me, and I will look for something else. Like I said I have not tried drop deck yet. Againb thanks fro the replies.

Ben, you can buy an evo for $160? I'll buy one. I'll buy two. Shipping is from overseas I suppose.
Here is the thing guys - Australian dollar is dog meat. Any stock in Australia will be cheap compared to replacement. If you need a speedboard. Ring around now and buy it, Adrain aint going to have evo's for $250 much longer, hell, I might call him and buy one. Price up a board and shipping from USA or Canada in the current market, it would be hard to buy something for less than $300 Australian paesos.
i've ridden one. hated it actually, no offence odowie. the platform was tiny, it wasn't very solid under my feet, the cutting was a bit uneven and on top of all that the wheels were slow. i'm sure the noses would be prone to cracking and even snapping in some cases too. definitely not a board i'd wanna ride down hills.
